LEICESTER HOUSING FRAMEWORK

As part of a four-year framework agreement with Leicester City Council, Stoic Roofing & Construction carried out the replacement of pitched roofs, at approximately 125 properties per year. This large-scale project included essential works such as insulation upgrades, chimney removals, asbestos removal, and the replacement of fascias, soffits, and rainwater goods.

 

With the framework spanning from April 2019 to March 2023, Stoic Roofing was tasked with managing significant logistical and safety requirements, particularly with asbestos removal. The team minimised disruptions while delivering results by employing rigorous health and safety protocols and ensuring clear communication with residents.

 

The project successfully met the council's goals of improving the energy efficiency, safety, and longevity of the domestic housing stock. Over the four years, Stoic Roofing replaced roofs on hundreds of homes, ensuring each property adhered to modern building standards and ensured comfort for its residents.
