A local authority school faced the dilemma of aging pitched and flat roofs. This resulted in leaks, energy inefficiency, and overall deterioration. The school needed a comprehensive solution that would enhance structural integrity, improve energy efficiency, and provide long-lasting durability.Nature of works: The project involved pitched and flat roof replacements and cladding upgrades. Stoic Roofing & construction began the pitched roof replacement during the summer break to accommodate the extensive work, ensuring a seamless transition when classes resumed.The flat roof replacement was strategically phased to allow the school to continue as normal when it was back to full operation. This successful project showcased the importance of planning, the use of quality materials and installers as well as the safety measures put in place to complete the works. The school now has a new roofing system that will keep the staff and students safe and dry for years to come.
