RUSSELL'S RIDE, CHESHUNT

Stoic Roofing & Construction was contracted by Aldwyck Housing to replace the pitched roofs of 30 domestic properties on Russell’s Ride in Cheshunt, Waltham Cross. The project included flat roofing works, insulation upgrades, window and door replacements, chimney removals, asbestos removal, and the replacement of fascias, soffits, and rainwater goods.

This 16-week project (January 2019 – April 2019) required careful planning to manage the various components of the work. The asbestos removal process was handled with stringent safety measures, and the additional tasks of window and door replacements added complexity to the scheduling. Despite these challenges, Stoic Roofing met the project deadlines and ensured minimal disruption for the residents.

The project was completed successfully within the specified timeframe, enhancing the properties with improved insulation, safety, and energy efficiency. The new roofing systems and property upgrades have provided long-term benefits for the residents, aligning with Aldwyck Housing’s commitment to maintaining high-quality living standards.
